Horses are the large, powerful, fast running and has been one of the most useful
animals for over more than thousands years. Horses were the fastest way for land
travel those days. They have hooves, a tail, and long hair above their head and
on their neck. Horses come in a variety of size and structures depending upon
breed.
Horses usually weigh up to a range from 660 and 4400 pounds. Horses
live their life span up to a maximum of 25-35 years depending upon their health.
Horse likes eating grass, soft grass; sometimes they eat hay and grain. A horse
can continuously run up to 42 miles per hour. A male horse is called as "Mare"
and female horse is called as "Stallion".
Horses feel comfortable
when they sleep while lying down but the have the capability to stand and sleep
also. The Stallion will generally have one baby at a time. After a period of eleven
months, a baby horse is born. A Baby horse is called "Foals". The foal
will not be able to stand properly after born, but after 20 minutes the foal starts
following her mother and will stay very near to the mother for few days.
In todays modern age objects faster than horses have been developed though people
use horse to get work out of them while many other people keep horses for recreation
and for sports specially horse race.
