Flycatcher is one of the smallest and most common flycatchers. They can generally
be seen in the regions woodland and cultivated areas of North America.
They range in size up to a maximum length of 12 - 14 centimeters including a wingspan
of 20 centimeter. They weigh up to 8 to 13 grams.
They build their nests
in a hole in a tree and are made up of lined with fine grasses, feathers, hair,
down, and plant stems with laying four eggs which are taken care by the female.
Their egg is yellowish or creamy white in color.
Their food mostly includes
insects and fruits. They are capable to catch insects when they are on flight.
